A Brief History
Canaries and British Aluminium Systems S.L. began life as a small glass shop during the early 1990s in the Los Gigantes area of the island.
As the business expanded into aluminium doors and windows it moved to larger premises in the area and by 2003 had reached such a size it moved into a 600 m2 factory in Las Chafiras – a building that remains the company’s headquarters to this day.
During the following years significant investment was made to acquire the latest machinery, new tools, work stations and vehicles to ensure continued success and expansion.
In 2012 the company was taken over by Mark Fidgeon, an individual with more than 30 years construction industry experience in both the Canary Islands and in the United Kingdom.
Mark has held director level positions with firms such as Taylor Woodrow and Barratt Homes and has guided the company to offer a more diverse range of services and to be able to handle any kind of construction project.
Nowadays the business looks confidently to the future, offering more quality products and services than ever before and a complete solution to its customers.
